Palm Sunday Mass in the Extraordinary Form began at the
eccesia collecta, St. Mary Magdalen de Pazzi, the worship site in the parish of St. Paul. After the blessing and distribution of palm and the proclamation of the Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew (21. 1-9) the procession departed for St. Paul Church for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass including the Singing of the Passion of Our Lord.

The blessed palm is presented to the faithful, who receive it kneeling at the altar rail. Upon receiving the palm, the faithful kiss it and then kiss the priest's hand.
